Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 250g boneless, skinless chicken thighs, thinly sliced
- Marinade: garlic, cumin, red chilli, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, pepper, lemon juice, yogurt, olive oil
- 4 CrustWorthy Whole Wheat Pita Breads
- Toppings: tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce
- 1 Tbsp CrustWorthy Paprika Butter
- Sauce: tahini or garlic sauce
- Optional: pickled vegetables
Instructions:
- Marinate chicken in a mixture of garlic, spices, lemon juice, yogurt, and olive oil for at least 1 hour.
- Grill chicken until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Warm Pita bread, and spread a layer of CrustWorthy Paprika Butter on each.
- Assemble shawarma with chicken, toppings, and sauce.
- Roll up and enjoy!
