Crustworthy Gourmet Breads
Round Challah with Raisins
Introducing our signature CrustWorthy Challah, specially crafted in a traditional round shape with added raisins, exclusively for the Jewish community of Pune to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashanah, meaning 'head of the year', falls in September, marking the beginning of the new year in the Jewish calendar. Wondering how we tailored this Challah for Pune's Jewish community? It all began with our weekly tradition of delivering bread to Jewish families in Pune. Through this connection, they approached us with the idea. Jay was warmly invited to the Ohel David Synagogue in Pune to collaborate with the Rabbi and the community. From sourcing ingredients aligned with Jewish customs to shaping and baking the Challah with love, every step of the process has been a joyous journey for us.

Our Round Challah with Raisins is soft, slightly sweet and oh-so-good, you can gobble it up as is!
But CrustWorthy Recommends: To dip it in your favourite curries for a lip-smacking meal. Our favourite curries to have this mini loaf with are Chicken Chitarnee, Chole, and Misal.
